Finally it has come, the big event I look forward to every year. Convergence. Minnesota's biggest Scifi/Anime/Fantasy/Gaming convention. This year is the 10th anniversary so it is starting tonight, but sadly we aren't going to start our attendance until tomorrow. By the time HB made it home we only would have had about 2 hours and then we would have had to come back. Our hotel reservation isn't until tomorrow and he will be super crabby if we tried to keep him out past 10-11. So we decided to suck it up and just go tomorrow.
I've got mixed feelings about the whole weekend. It absolutely sucks not being able to go tonight and have fun, but it's what is best for the little man. I love being at con but this year it is going to be so different. We have no babysitter so there will be no drinking and probably no staying out late. I don't know how we are going to go to any panels or do much except walk around. I'm hoping it will be a good time.
